The lighting situation was off. the lights were bizarre, and even when they were on, it felt dark in there, which wasn’t great. The bathroom, while large and wet-room styled, lacked expected comforts like underfloor heating. And those heavy doors? Made for a disruptive experience when other guests were coming and going. Oh, and let's not even get started on the brown toilet paper. not a great touch for a high-end place like this.

Solo traveler’s hidden gem
The staff was incredibly warm, even offered me a complimentary drink upon check-in which was a nice touch. I can't tell you how refreshing it felt to see homemade flapjacks in the room, it was like a lovely surprise waiting for me after a long day.
It wasn't exactly low-cost, but I found it acceptable for the quality provided.
